Big Boys

Well, Brennyn is growing like a weed. Our baby crawls on all fours, pulls up on anything that is at his level and can sit up on his own! Where has the time gone? It is crazy to fathom that he will be ten months in only two days. Craziness I tell you. CRAZINESS!

Rowynn is no bump on a log either, he is putting together more and more words, and getting closer to sentences. He loves to run, jump and try to workout with mommy. He is an animal lover. He loves on his brother every time Brennyn gets out of bed. He loves to work on puzzles and play with his shape sorter. He can identify and say around seven colors. He will, sometimes, count to five. The other night he "sang" the song, Do Your Ears Hang Low, all by himself with hand movements.

Needless to say, things around our house are crazy busy!

Three Easters, Three Looks

After having Rowynn I had to be on steroids for a reoccurring eye issue. Look how big my face is!
Off the steroids! Rowynn is one.
Our family grew and so did my hair, finally.

Double Rainbow

Look close, it is a double rainbow!

A beautiful reminder of God's promise

New Journey

Being a stay-at-home mom, I'm always looking for some way to help bring in a little income to help out our family. A few weeks ago, I headed over to a friend's house because she was having a launch party for a new product that she was selling.

I tried on a nail shield, ordered a couple for myself and headed on home. When almost two weeks had passed and the nail shield was still on my pinky (even after gardening, bathing and cleaning), I started thinking this might be a good product to start selling. I'm a bit hesitant these days to sign up for this kind of stuff since my Scentsy tryout was a bust, but after talking it through with Rusty, I decided that this product may actually sell itself and therefore, I wouldn't have to bug my friends to by it!

Long story short, I am now a Jamberry Independent Consultant. Jamberry offers nail shields that only require heat and pressure to be applied to the nail. The shields can be applied to any type of nail and they are super easy and mess free to remove. One set of shields will do your nails up to three times for only $15. Not to shabby when I was paying more than that to get pedicures. Plus, there are over 100 different shield designs to choose from!!

Here's what I'm sporting right now:

Mine is called Spring Flower

So, for those of you who are skeptical about the product and would like me to send you a sample to try on one of your nails, like I did, just email me (powersraychel@yahoo.com) with your address and I would be more than happy to let you try it out before you buy a sheet.

If you want to check out all the different designs that are offered, my website is here and I even started a Facebook business page, check it out here.

I am really excited about this product and about the business. I'm just hoping that this doesn't fail like Scentsy did!! So, if you would keep this business adventure in your prayers, I would really appreciate it. Though I take care of our two boys and keep the house semi-clean, I feel that I lack in my contribution since I don't help much financially. I'm hoping this will fix that.

Brothers = Love

Brennyn is officially on the go!

As a mom, watching them together is my favorite past time.

Happy Easter

I guess having two kids has made me horrible about getting my camera out. We kicked off our Easter weekend with our annual egg hunt at our house. This year we had a good turn out even though there was a little rain.

Sadly, I didn't get any pictures with my camera, but I will upload the pictures that Rusty took with his trusty iPhone!

Like I said, we have an annual egg hunt and this year marked our third year. There was lots of good food, lots of good friends and plenty of good times for everyone, including the kids!
After the excitement of the egg hunt and a nap, there were eggs to be colored. Rowynn did a marvelous job and I'm pretty sure he enjoyed every minute of putting eggs in the cups and then pulling them out with his hands. Surprisingly, his hands didn't get too stained this year.
Sunday morning, Rowynn woke up to his overflowing Easter basket. I'm pretty sure he overlooked everything but the candy! The word of the day was "andy", "andy".
 Showing daddy his "egg"
 YUM!
We spent our Easter in Sedan, KS visiting the majority of Rusty's family on his father's side. It was absolutely wonderful seeing all of the family. It was even more fun getting to watch all of the kids have a giant egg hunt. With a little cheating help from his uncle and a cousin, Rowynn found the silver egg, which contained $5. Knowing that it wasn't fair to the older kids, Rusty put $5 pack in and had it re-hid. We couldn't let our 2 year old spoil the game for the big kids!

We decided to take a different way home so I could maybe catch a glimpse of the Pioneer Woman's entry gate, but we ended up not driving by it this time. Oh well, looks like there is another trip through Pawhuska for us at some point!
